The Fisheries Academy of Malaysia (APM), in collaboration with the Temerloh District Fisheries Office and MyKP Rumpun Makmur, successfully organized the 2-Stroke Outboard Engine Maintenance Course for Target Group from 28 to 29 April 2026.
Held at FELCRA Rumpun Makmur, Temerloh, a total of 18 participants from the local fishing community attended this intensive two-day course.
Throughout the course, participants were exposed to:
Proper outboard engine maintenance techniques;
The use of hand tools and specialized equipment for engine disassembly and reassembly processes; and
Emphasis on workplace safety standards and environmental care.
The Closing Ceremony was officiated by Mr. Roslan bin Abu Hasan, Director of the Pahang State Fisheries Department. Congratulations to all participants! May the knowledge gained help reduce maintenance costs and extend the lifespan of their respective boat engines.
